Wayfoong, built in the 1930s by the Hong Kong & Whampoa Dock Company and commissioned by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, has recently completed a loving restoration by her new owners and is now available for private charter. The historic and elegant Wayfoong is once again the charter boat to cruise around the wonderful waters of Hong Kong.

She comfortably accommodates parties of 18 guests for unforgettable cruises on Hong Kong’s south side, cocktail parties in Deep Water Bay and candlelit dinners in the island’s many sheltered harbours.

Unparalleled Historic Charters

Built of solid Burmese teak, the seventy-foot launch was restored and remodelled in 2007 and 2019, making her ideal for comfortable cruising in Hong Kong waters. Wayfoong boasts a 16-person fore-deck dining table, an elegant lower-deck saloon with seating space for ten and an aft-deck lounge fit for up to 16 guests. Wayfoong also has a fully equipped galley, and a head with a shower.

Beautiful Charter Locations

Staffed by a highly professional, English-speaking crew of three, including a Chief Steward well versed in the yacht’s rich history, Wayfoong is available for day and evening cruises in Sai Kung, along Hong Kong island’s south side and to Po Toi and Lamma Island.

Luxurious Dining

In classic yachting style, gourmet catering is available on board in
partnership with Relish. An Indian menu is also available in homage to the legendary “best curry in town” once served on board Wayfoong in its HSBC heyday. Four-star wait service is also available for all parties and cruises, as will buffet and seated dinner options including white glove service if desired.  Click here for menus.
